Since all internal positions are engaged primarily in serving the interests of Indigenous people, the Red Rock Indian Band shall give preference to Indigenous people who possess the requisite skill set and experience.


Family Support Worker (Full-Time)

The Red Rock Indian Band is now accepting applications for the position of Family Support Worker,  who under the direction of Chief and Council, will primarily be responsible for creating, managing, and executing a wide range of both Client and Community-Based Services to both the Community and Members of the Red Rock Indian Band at large such as the Aboriginal Diabetes Initiative. This position will also deal with numerous issues that prevent the cohesion of stable family units such as Lateral Violence, Addiction, and Mental Health Issues.

The Family Support Worker must possess the following: 

  • Ability to manage and facilitate programming considered an asset. 
  • Ability to work after normal business hours. 

  • Must possess strong communication skills 

  • Experience in the Social Work or Hospitality considered an asset
